Terms of Use

Effective July 28, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Top Ten. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you don't, don't use the app.

Who can use Top Ten

You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in method to yourself.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Top Ten is built around lists you write yourself, so nearly everything you see is written by another person. You agree not to post, submit, or send:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted abuse of any person.
• Hate speech, or content attacking people over race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, age, or sexual orientation.
• Sexually explicit material, nudity, or any sexual content involving minors.
• Graphic violence, gore, or content glorifying self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Content promoting illegal activity, or the sale of drugs, weapons, or stolen goods.
• Impersonation of another person, or the private information of anyone else.
• Spam, scams, malware, or automated abuse of the service.

One of the app's own rules asks you not to rank people you personally know. That's a product rule, not a legal one — but content that names a private individual in order to demean them is objectionable content, and is treated as such.

Reporting and blocking

Every piece of content in Top Ten is reportable, and every account is blockable:

• Report — long-press any item in the feed, or open a profile and choose "Report or block."
• Block — same places. Blocking removes that person's content from your feed, ends the friendship, and takes their profile and lists out of your reach.

We review every report and act within 24 hours, removing content and ejecting users where warranted.

Your content

Your lists are yours. You keep ownership of everything you post. You give us the limited permission we need to store it and show it to the people you've chosen to share it with — your friends and the members of your draft parties — so the app can function. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Our content

The app itself — its name, design, daily topics, and code — belongs to us. Don't copy it, resell it, reverse-engineer it, or scrape the service.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time: Settings → Account → Delete account. It's immediate and irreversible, and it removes your lists, parties, friendships, and avatar from our servers.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, and we may remove content that does. Where it's reasonable to do so we'll tell you why.

The app is provided as-is

Top Ten is free and offered without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available, or that anything you post will be preserved forever. To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change.
